Best in beauty - the best of the best 2018

Wow what a year 2018 was for beauty products! New releases coming left right and centre. This year i have found some incredible products that are firm favourites!

Too faced peach perfect foundation

This has to be my number one foundation of the year, it is exactly what it says on the tin, a comfort matte foundation. Looks beautiful on the skin, and lasts on the skin all day.

It cosmetics bye bye undereye concealer

Now this is some heavy duty concealer not for the faint hearted! This is literally gonna last a life time as you need the smallest amount each time to cover them dark circles. It is very thick but blends out beautifully and sets down perfectly with powder. 

Too faced just peachy mattes

This was my chosen eyeshadow of the year, the perfect warm shades for an everyday look. 

Too faced peach perfect loose powder

This was defiantly the year for loose powders! This is so fine, smells and tastes incredible. Sets and keeps my makeup matte all day.

Caudalie beauty elixir

I will be honest i have no idea what this actually does to my skin, but i cannot live without it, i spritz this onto my face everynight before i go to bed and just hydrates my skin beautifully.

This works deep sleep pillow spray

This has been the year where i have not gone a night without this pillow spray, it just lets you drift off naturally into a deep sleep, i cannot go a night without this stuff!

Becca champagne pop shimmering skin perfector 

There is only once a year i can wear this and that is summer when i am tanned, this year thanks to our amazing summer i was able to keep my tan up for quite a while, hence why i hit pan. It is the most stunning champagne gold that gives a blinding yet glow from within look.

Jeffree star ice cold skin frost

These highlights are very different to others ones i have used it is quite a dry formula but this is how you can either use them subtly or really amp them up which of course is what i do. This is the perfect shade for us pale lot.

Morphe JH 02

This is the best new bronzer brush ever, i love the tapered shape and fits the cheek perfectly. Its soft, doesn’t shed and applys the bronzer evenly over the face.

Too faced love flush baby love blush

I believe this is a third time winner in yearly best awards. It is the perfect nude pink blush that just gives your cheek that perfect pop of colour. Major pan has been hit on this.

Benefit hoola lite

I did enjoy the original hoola but i could only really use it for contouring, so when this was released i was so excited. It is the perfect tone and shade for paler skin tones, blends into the skin beautifully for that natural sun kissed look.

Becca hydra set and fresh powder

Another loose powder that has made it’s impact this year, it is formulated with hydraulic acid which makes it feel wet when being applied to the skin. So this special powder is hydrating yet mattifying. It is honestly magic. It never looks cakey on the skin, always natural.

Becca ultimate coverage 24hour foundation

Wow this is one hell of a full coverage foundation, it is quite a thick formula but doesn’t feel thick or heavy on the skin. Covers everything you need it to, stays matte and lasts literally all day.

Lee Stafford choco locks chocolate shake

This is the first hair oil i have loved where it doesn’t actually make my hair feel oily, it has kept my hair so soft and in such lovely condition. And who doesn’t love a chocolate scent. 

Jeffree Star velour liquid lipstick in christmas cookie

This is the perfect nude to go with the perfect formula. It is a pinky nude with a hint of brown. I’m so glad it was made a permanent colour as it is my go to shade! 

Too faced peach kisses sunday funday

These are my favourite traditional bullet lipstick, first of all the scent and the taste are amazing! The formula of these are so creamy and lightweight but are a matte finish which i love! And this shade is the perfect everyday nude! 

It cosmetics superhero mascara

Without a doubt this has been the standout mascara of the year, with just one coat it has given you so much length and volume. Perfect mascara! 

Stila glitter and glow liquid eyeshadows

I instantly fell in love with these as soon as i first applied them to my eyes. They add the perfect amount of sparkle to the eyes for that extra touch. The glitter doesn’t fall down onto the rest of your face it stays put perfectly!
