Best in beauty - October

Thats it for October, how quickly are these months going? It looks like i have quite a few favourites this month but some of them are as a team favourite using some of the products together.

Winky lux and doucce highlighters

I got this strobing cream in Octobers birchbox and i am not normally a cream makeup person, but saying that i always have to try a product out at least once. This is a beautiful pink shade but of course as its a strobing cream they can be a bit sticky so i thought i would set it with my doucce highlight, and this is a match made in heaven, it creates a gorgeous champagne colour and just looks stunning and a subtle blinding effect.

Daily concepts charcoal soap sponge

Now this intrigued me straight away when i saw this in October birchbox, charcoal has really come into the world all of a sudden for skincare all brands have started to use it. Now this is literally a bar of soap on a sponge but it is amazing!! The soap lathers up through the sponge as you are washing your face, the sponge is quite harsh but i love that for a daily exfoliation, my skin has never felt so good. And of course charcoal is amazing for us oily skin girls to give out skin a daily detox.

Too faced chocolate gold bronzer

I think i must be the only person in the world that didn’t totally get on with their matte chocolate bronzers, they were perfectly nice but didn’t wow me. Anyway a Too Faced shop has opened in the shopping centre i work in so it would be rude to not make some purchases and i saw this travel size of the chocolate gold, this is a shimmery bronzer so it is easier to blend on the skin. I am utterly in love with this bronzer, the smell, the colour, everything, it is a beautiful bronzer and thats why i love them doing travel sizes so you can give it a go before making the full purchase.

Jeffree Star velour lip liner

We have been waiting for these bad boys to come on the seen and finally they are out! I got the shade mannequin which is the perfectly brown/pink nude and of course then matches up perfectly to the liquid lipstick. These are the creamiest lip liners i have ever used they just glide on beautifully. The colour is full on, matte but creamy and last hours, i have even just worn them on their own and they look stunning! 

Too faced peaches and cream base products

These have all been favourites separately at some point this year but this month i have been obsessed with the look they give me while using all the products together. This collection has been more formulated towards oily skin so all these products have mattifying properties. And another point all these products smell incredible of peach and sweet fig cream.

Primed and peachy primer - this is a mattifying and cooling primer, this has an amazing affect on my skin the cooling feeling is lovely and my skin is instantly matte. 

Peach perfect foundatin - i love this foundation has a very natural medium matte coverage that just makes your skin look like skin but better. Blends in beautifully and covers what i need it too, you can build it up to be more of a full coverage. 

Peach perfect powder - this has been a great year for powders for me and this one is a clear winner, this makes my skin look incredible, matte but not dry and some how makes it look so healthy, i just can’t get enough of it, i don’t have to touch up throughout the day this keeps me matte for hours. 

Peach mist setting spray - this a very fine mist that sets the makeup beautifully and blends all the makeup in together to give a more natural look.

Bath and body works Pumpkin donut shop

This was defiantly my favourite pumpkin candle this year, lovely and sweet but not to overpowering or sickly. A lovely bakery type smell of cakes and donuts cooking with that hint of pumpkin spice. These three wicks always burn perfectly and get enough throw to scent the whole house.

Sunday riley blue moon clean rinse cleansing balm

I got this in a limited edition Glossybox with sunday riley, this was a full size product worth £46. I haven’t tried anything from this brand until now because of the price, and now i can see why everyone hypes about this brand. This is an exfoliating cleansing balm so while its removing your makeup it is also getting rid of any dead skin cells too. My skin feels incredible everynight after i use this and removes makeup amazingly! This a new firm favourite even with that price tag!
