Glossybox Vs Birchbox - August edition

We had some really fun themes for this months boxes, for Glossybox we have a pride theme to celebrate and embrace individuality which is amazing! 

And for Birchbox we had a collab with etsy where ten sellers had created a box, so we had the surprise of which box we was going to be receiving.

I have to say this month none of the subscriptions boxes have blown me away, which has made this months even harder to choose a winner.

Now there was a few items that were straight away given away that i would never use, but i flipping love the lip and cheek jam and the highlighter both amazing products and you have already doubled your money in which you paid for the box, so i am glad i have found new makeup bag staples in these.

Birchbox

In this months Birchbox i received -

CLE cosmetics melting lip powder in blushing peach

Dr Botanicals pomegranate superfood regenerating sleeping mask

Number 4 sugar spray

Rituals happy budha foaming shower gel

Again only a couple of products that i am happy to use in here, i hate getting sent so much hair products when on my profile i have asked for more makeup and skincare. I will say the DR Botanicals sleeping mask i am loving, it literally sinks in straight away as i find some stay sticky on your skin throughout the night so this was a good change.

This month it was really close as neither boxes wowed me, but the winner this month is..... GLOSSYBOX!! 

Only just by means!! Literally pulled it back because of the liquid blush and highlighter. I don’t think it has ever been this tight before.
