As you know i am a full on skincare and full face of makeup type of girl! But occasionally i do like the minimal look and of course takes no time at all! So this post is for my girls that either don't have time, don't have the money to have every single item for skincare and makeup and who like a natural healthy look while still looking after their skin.
So i have put together a five step makeup routine of products i would wear if i didn’t have time that morning or just to look alive!!
Concealer

I really think you can cut out the foundation step, concealer has more coverage and you can place where you want or need so under the eyes, around the nose and any blemish and will give you a nice starting base.
Cheeks - bronzer, blush or highlighter

Now this step is up to you i think everyone needs one cheek product, whether its to add some warmth to your skin with bronzer, a pop of colour with blush or a subtle glow from within with highlighter. It is whatever you feel most comfortable with or what you enjoy wearing the most.
Brows

I really believe this is one of the most important steps in a makeup routine, brows can totally transform a look and lift your entire face, whether you like the natural look or the bold brow, it can really frame your face.
Mascara

We all know what mascara can do, to give you that little bit of definition to your lashes and eyes to open them up and look more awake and finished. Once again natural lashes or thick pumped up ones are personal preference, but without it your eyes can get really lost in your face.
Lipbalm

So i thought i would play it safe and easy with lipbalm instead of lipstick. One it nourishes the lips so they won’t be getting dry or chapped and two they still come in colours or sparkle so it can still look like you have your favourite lipstick on without the effort.
Once again for skincare we have a simple 3 step daily routine.
Cleansing

Cleansing is such an essential step of a skincare routine to make sure your skin is clean from any dirt, grime or makeup. I like to cleanse in the morning to remove any dirt or oils from the night and to refresh your skin. In the evening to remove your makeup you could use either makeup cleansing wipes or a cleanser designed to remove your makeup. Once you have removed most of your makeup i would then go in with a second cleasne (the one you used in the morning) to then actually clean you skin.
Eye cream

Our undereyes are so important to a rountine and one of your first signs of ageing, again i like to do this in the morning and evening to know their going to be hydrated all day and all night. Once again there are different types of eye cream so find one to suit your skin type.
Moisturiser

And of course the rest of our face skin needs hydration as well, there is so many different types of moisturiser on the market for all of the different skin types we have. Once you know what you need for your skin, apply morning and night.
Weekly
Masks and exfoliating

So once a week i like to give my skin a good scrub to get rid of any dead skin that has built up during the week. Depends again on your skin you can either get a really gritty one or a more gentle exfoliant to gently remove the skin. Also a mask is a great way to target any problems you have on your skin whether its dryness, dehydration, blemishes or acne, once again there is so many masks on the market for your skin type. Whether you like sheet masks, clay or moistursing there is something for everyone.
