Now i think we are all guilty of being snobs when it comes to makeup enjoying our more indulgent purchases, but sometimes you can find a product in the drugstore that makes you rethink whether you should of spent all that money or not? And sorry for all the Loreal products throughout this post but i just love their makeup!!
Primers

I am an oily skin kinda gal so i use silicone based primers and my two favourites are the loreal mattifying primer ( £8.99) which is part of the infallible range and the ordinary high adherence silicone primer (£3.90). These help your foundation stick to your skin and stops uncontrollable oils seeping through.
Foundations

Once again Loreal wins it for me, there 24H matte is my ride or die foundation i cannot live without this, it is the most flawless foundation i have ever used and lasts all day without fail (£8.99). Another one of these i love is total cover (both again from the infallible range) this has a thick mousse texture but doesn't feel thick or heavy on the skin, very full coverage and very matte once again (£9.99).
Powders and setting sprays

Are you bored of Loreal yet? I hope not as this really is the best drugstore brand! I do have a few powders but this is the one im drawn to every day, keeps me matte even longer and sets everything into place, only downfall is there is only 3 shades while in the states they have a good colour selection (£5.99). Now there setting mist you either love it or you hate it, it has chalk in the product to really keep you matte all day so you have to give it a damn good shake every time you use it so your not covered in white spots (we have all been there). To me this works perfectly and i don't see any oil all day when setting my makeup and it looks as good at night as it did when you put it on in the morning (£8.99).
Contouring

These are actually the only single contour products i own and i really wouldn't change them for high end. My favourite is the nyx blush in taupe, this is a brown/grey powder which gives you a perfect hollowed cheeks colour, you can make it subtle or dramatic as you like (£6.00). The collection precision contouring stick is a cream contour and alot more of a natural look, you can build it up but wont look as contoured as a powder product (£3.99).
Highlighters

I have so many highlighters i love, yes alot are highend but i do have a few drugstore and these are some personal favourites. The sleek highlight palettes are a must they have 4 or 5 now and they are so pigmented and glowy, you can get more cream based or powder based depending what your into but you will not be disapointed if you purchased one of these (£9.99). Now colourpop is a bit more difficult to get hold of, they are some of the cheapest products you can get but then you do get hit with a customs bill as it does come from the states. But their highlights are just wow!! They have so many different shades to choose from, they are all pearlized but some are more metalic then others, you can wear them on there own or layer them, colourpop is a very strange texture feels very creamy and wet but sets as a powder, if i am using one of the less pigmented ones i will layer a powder on top ($8.00).
Eyeshadows

So colourpop is the only drugstore brand eyeshadows super shock shadows i own but they are amazing eyeshadows once again for the price, they come in hundreds of colours and formulas, such as matte, satin, pearlized, ultra glitter etc. You can buy them as singles or when the company put a quad together and occasionally you get free eyeshadows if their having a promotion so look out for that ($5.00).
Mascara

Sooooo i always think Loreal do the best mascaras too, i really enjoyed the baby roll but that soon moved out the way as soon as paradise extatic came into my life. This is a dupe for the too faced better then sex mascara very similar brush and the volume and length it gives, just wow!! I think highend mascara is defiantly something you can miss out on. This is without a doubt the best drugstore i have ever tried (£11.99).
Lip products

This one was more tricky as i have so many highend lip products that i fricking love but i still thought i would show you my drugstore loves, though alot of them are colourpop once again, but they have ultra matte and ultra satin liquid lipsticks in so many shades and are very comparable to more expensive ones ($6.00).They also have lippie stix which are literally lipsticks in sticks and these once again come in different formulas my favourite is the matte personally, they are very easy to apply as they are not as big as a normal lipstick bullet ($5.00). Milani is another fab brand for lipsticks plenty of shades and finishes again and these have quite a few dupes to mac lipsticks, so if your not ready to commit to mac give these ago (£6.00).
