Colourpop cosmetics ordering review and first impressions!!

So since the hype of Colourpop cosmetics has emerged i new it would be my type of makeup and i have wanted to try literally everything. Before making this order i had two products which i purchased off ebay which was a super shock matte eyeshadow and a lippy stix. I have wanted more ever since so i decided to bite the bullet and make an order. 

The website is very easy to follow and actually order from, a few months ago they started to ship to the UK. So when i started shopping on the website i noticed i could get free international shipping if i spent over $50 so i thought i would do that i wanted to try enough products to justify the money being spent. So i spent $55 in total which is roughly £42 so i thought a pretty decent amount. I know when they first started shipping to the UK it was $25 for the shipping so the fact i got it for free was a bonus. I ordered it on Monday the 10th of april, it was then at an american shipping centre on the 13th, it arrived in the UK on the 17th for its check, delivered the 19th to my local post office and i picked it up on the 20th. Considering they said it would take up to 3 weeks i was very impressed with how quickly i got my parcel. The only downside to shipping from the US is custom charges, which you have to pay at your post office before picking up your parcel so that cost me another £19.87 on top which to be honest i don't think is that bad for a order every now and again and taking into account how cheap the items are in the place.   

They have the cutest boxes and little message inside, everything came in perfect condition and was very padded out with foam to protect the items. 

This is everything i ordered out of the packaging.

First up was the lippy stix matte x persuade me lip kit which came with six beaut brown toned lippy stixs. So we have ziggie, daydream, le freak, goldie, hotline and upside down. These are in a matte x formula which is basically the mattest formula extra matte if you like. But these are so creamy they glide on the lips like butter, they last pretty much all day!! They are incredibly comfy to wear on the lips, it literally feels like i'm wearing nothing on my lips.

Next i had to try some of the ultra matte lip, i am a matte lip girl so what could be more perfect! I got the shades Time sqaure and chi which is a limited edition colour collab by Karrueche x.  The applicator is quite a small doe foot applicator but actually fits better around the lips, once applied it sets down matte almost immediately, it was very comfy to wear not to drying at all, when i ate it did come off in the middle but i havn't found any lip product on myself that doesn't stay on completely when i eat anyway. 

This is one of there super shock cheek pearlized highlighters in the shade stole the show. They have the strangest creamiest texture, they are so soft and buttery and the pigment to this highlight is blinding! 

This went onto my skin beautifully you could have this very subtle or build it up slightly like i did and it looks stunning. The only downside to the texture of these products is you can't really use a brush so i had to use my fingers but i made it work and it looks pretty stunning on the skin. 

Next i bought three shades of the super shock eyeshadows, two in a matte finish and one in a finish. Like the highlight it has this amazing soft texture and amazing pigment too. I thought because of the texture you would have to keep swirling the brush round to get anything on the brush but this is not the case, it gets just the right amount of pigment and they blend beautifully.

So after this i can safely say i will be making another order in the future, these products are defiantly worth the hype and the custom charges.
