New York beauty haul

First of all i would like to appologise for not uploading for a month, but now i'm back from holiday and in the routine again hopefully I will be posting more regularly again.

So as you might of noticed I went to New York city and had the most amazing 4 days, this blogpost is going to be my shopping and beauty hauls and then i'm going to do another blogpost on the holiday.

Th first shop we visted was Duane Reade which was just on our block which was perfect so I could shop 24 hours a day if I wanted to. I did go prepared out there with a list so I didn't feel so overwhelmed with it all. I must say there drugstores are amazing, with so many different brands. My one rule out there was to only buy items that we can't get in the uk.

So this is what I picked up in the drugstore -

Wet n wild lipsticks in pink think and in the flesh

Cetaphil mini cleanser

Covergirl lashblast mascara

Milani bella eyeshadow in bella champagne

Milani lipsticks in teddy bare, matte naked and matte beauty

I have already tested out some of these products and so far so good, the milani lipsticks are on point!

Next on the list aren't so beauty related but I know you will appreciate seeing them. I have never been so excited to go to bath and body works it was just as amazing as I imagined, so many items and scents to smell, I only went into the shop once wish I went in more, we need one in the uk! So in there I sniffed so many candles but it was the first one I smelt we went away with which is water melon lemonade, this smells exactly like the name, it's one of their very famous 3 wick candles, i'm going to try not to burn it for as long as possible until I get some more. Then I had to pick up some of the cult hand sanitizers, you can't into this shop without picking some of these up. The deal was 5 for $6 so i picked up five and kept two for myself, which is fresh watermelon lemonade and warm vailla sugar, both smell so amazing and don't leave your hands feeling sticky, can't wait to pick more of these up either.

We then went to Bloomingdales for a look around, I was going to get myself the little brown bag, but thought to myself would I actually use it, so when i saw the little brown cosmetics, I fell in love it was so perfect and would get much more use. I now use it for my little beauty bits in my handbag and it's the perfect size.

So I know this is what your all dying to read about! SEPHORA!! The mothership of all makeup shops, yes this was one of the things I was most excited to see and shop in, sad I know but hey thats the life of a makeup addict! I went to three sephoras, two in times square and a huge one on 5th avenue. This shop is everything it promises to be and more, I never thought I would ever get to go to America and go in a sephora so that has to be a personal highlight. Each one of these shops were different with the products and the way it's layed out, my favourite has to be the one on 5th avenue it was so grand, it ha little stairways going upstairs and downstairs, which remined me of the libary in beauty and the beast with the way it looked, it was beautiful. Every time I set foot in this shop excitment just took over my whole body it was amazing and I loved every second of it.

So this is it the start of the sephora haul! These are the full size products I bought. You can easily spend so much money in such little time, you just walk around adding more and more items to the basket, so this was actually very controlled for me and still managed to get most items I wanted. These were bought in all three different sephoras, so we have -

Again I have used some and still testing others, I still find it so exciting just looking at the products and knowing I actually have some of these cult products.

Now this was probably the most exciting part of sephora for me, they call it the isle of doom and my god it is!!! This is the best way of trying new products if you don't want to spend the money on the full size item you can get the mini version and I loved it! I think I spent more time looking at these then the rest of the shop. So the products I got was -

So on the first night in sephora I asked for their points card and would save the points up till my last trip and spend them then. Then the next day on my second trip I was upgraded to the VIB card because of the amount I had spent oooppss!! So with the card I then got a 10% off my next purchase so I had to make another trip to make the most of it and then I would also spend my points. I only spent 300 of my points, so I got two of the beauty blender oil cleaners and an urban decay primer potion. I asked for the Marc Jacobs mini set but the assistant said it was one of the birthday gifts, but she gave it to me anyway as I didn't live in the states.
